 reading all of these comments about the lesbian bit in this movie (which, for those in the dark, was a hallucination). I don't think sexuality in Aronofsky's movies are meant to be erotic. I point everyone to one sequence in Requiem For A Dream. The ass-to-ass scene in that was meant to shock, n
ot titillate. In this movie, it is meant to exhibit the character's descent into madness, also not to titillate. Think about it.

 the end while she is bleeding, she says "I felt it. Perfect. It was perfect." Is that suppose to mean that perfection kills? I like the movie, but at the same time I'm confused because there are so many aspects about it that I don't understand.
 includes some nasty sex scenes for commercial reasons. Guys of course wouldn't care about the rest of the film, they watched it only for that sex scene. What a spectacular reason to appreciate the film right? Anyway...
